Parties of light in San Luis Potosi

San Luis is a member of LUCI (Lighting Urban Community International), the World Association of Cities Light, is the first city of Latin America that presents Luz's Festival. In Europe, a similar festival will be carried out from December 5 to December 8 in the City of Lyons, France.

As part of the feasts for being the unique city of Latin America in being a part of the world program of lighting, San Luís sheltered in December, 2007, March and November 2008, two important Parties of Light, the first one developed in the Temple of Carmen and the second one in the Metropolitan Cathedral, bringing together in both cases thousands of visitors attracted by the shining colors of his dazzling spectacle.

This is work of the painter and French set designer Xavier de Richemont, this spectacle realizes across innumerable games of beams laser, lights, prisms, photographies, images and technology of the first level, in which there will be included elements of the history and culture potosina, to illuminate the fronts of the above mentioned buildings.
